Bon dance is one of Japan’s best-known seasonal traditions at summer festivals. Japanese style folk dance to music is performed under traditional lanterns by people encircling a big stage built at open space.
“NEW Bon Odori” is a completely new style of bon dance established by Ryohei Kondo at the world’s famous dance company “Condors”. Do not miss ever-changing Japanese pop culture experience! This year, “NEW Bon Dance” presents exciting performances at midsummer night in Ikebukuro! Just join on the day as choreographic lessons are available on site. Everyone from children to adults are welcome to attend and joyful dancing experience is guaranteed.
A wide variety of delicious takeaway meals is available at stalls.
